Be JOYFUL Always !

Dear Jesus Generation,

Welcome to another session of learning.

Proverbs 17:22 says

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Paul tells the Philippians church (the believers at large) asking them to “Rejoice in the Lord, Always” and he dint stopped there but reiterates and says it again asking them to “Rejoice”.

Why did Paul say twice to Rejoice ???

Because that’s the Will of God for each and every believer. Jesus paid the price on the cross and that’s the BIGGEST REASON” for us to be Joyful every day.

Also, Joy is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. When we are full of Joy and happy it reflects whom we worship and whom we serve. Our God is a Happy God - who loves singing a new song, praising Him in all situations, making a joyful noise lifting His Name, thanking Him for all He has done, dancing with gladness, and worshipping with a whole heart.

I love the way David puts this attitude throughout the Psalms he wrote

Psalms 68:3

May the righteous be GLAD and REJOICE before God; may they be HAPPY and JOYFUL.

Psalm 35:9

My soul shall be JOYFUL in the LORD, it shall rejoice in HIS Salvation.

Psalm 100:2

Make a JOYFUL noise to the LORD...

No wonder God called David, "The Man after my own heart" because David understood the very HEART of God. God is not the author of sorrow and pain, but Joy Giver and HE loves to see His Children happy and glad.

So be Joyful trusting that God is in control of every situation you are going through right now and He will make a way no matter what.

I believe this is the promise that the Lord is giving to each one of us today, grab this word, and believe for a turnaround in your life.

Isaiah 35:10 says,

And those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing, everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

God bless.
