Dear Jesus Generation,
Happy Pentecost Sunday to all.
It's a special Sunday, where for the very first time, the Holy Spirit God came upon the Disciples of Jesus Christ, the early believers and it marks the beginning of the Christian church's mission to the world.
Acts 2: 1-4 says
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Day of Pentecost speaks of 3 important things:
1). The Holy Spirit God is given to each one of is, to be led and to become like Jesus.
2). All those who believe in Jesus are eligible and qualifies to receive this greatest gift of God, The Holy Spirit.
3). The Holy Spirit God, empowers us to share the gospel of Jesus and to be His witnesses in this world.
Take some time today and ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit today. Trust me, it is the greatest experience, a child of God will have after the Born again experience.
