Dear Jesus Generation,
Welcome to the "Season of Great Joy".
I am always amazed how God orchestrated several events, to declare the Birth of Jesus and one such incident is the STAR leading the Wisemen to the New Born King Jesus.
The Bible says in Matt 2:9-11
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Few things to ponder here:
1). The Wisemen studied the Star, may have researched about it, and then followed it. I believe, it is the work of the Holy Spirit God, convincing them to do this act.
2). The Wisemen were OVERJOYED when they saw the Star.
3). The Wisemen saw the MIRACLE OF MIRACLES, God in Flesh with their eyes. Wow, I am getting goosebumps already.
4). The Wisemen bowed down and Worshipped God
5). The Wisemen opened Gifts to show their respect towards the New Born King.
Similarly, God desires each one of us to be like the STAR, leading many people (the wise men of today, the lost, the unlearned, the uncared, the unsaved) to Jesus. We are here to Shine for God in this dark world.
Ask God to use you, to witness about Jesus during this Christmas Season, for many to come to Him and be saved.
I sincerely pray, that God will anoint you for this work, to be a blessing to many.
