Dear Jesus Generation,
In ancient days, before phones, faxes and overnight delivery services, important messages such as the outcome of a battle were delivered to the King by runners.
A messenger with good or bad news will come and deliver the message back to the Kingdom and all those who are waiting.
The bearer of bad news is often punished or killed, but the bearer of good news is always rewarded.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:20
So we are messengers for Christ. God is using us to call people. So we are standing here for Christ and begging people, `Come back to God!'
Our King Jesus has won the battle 2000 years ago defeating Sin, death and the evil forces on the cross. He vanquished the enemy and wears the victors crown. We are here to spread the outcome of that battle to the world.
In short, You and me are “Messengers of Hope”, carrying the good news to all the earth and to proclaim the victory of King Jesus Christ. For doing that, don’t ever forget, we all have a great reward that comes from God.
So as long as we are here on Earth, let us do our part for our King Jesus, proclaiming His victory and delivering His message of the coming Kingdom of God until He returns to Earth.
