Dear Jesus Generation,
We are learning about the topic, “Pray More”.
Today’s Topic : Pray for Yourself First.
The Bible says in 1 Chronicles 4:10
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain’. So God granted him what he requested.
I love the way, Jabez put this Prayer to God and Prayed for God to Bless Him. This is a “Prayer for Self”.
Few things to ponder upon here…
1). Jabez prayed for Himself
2). Jabez asked God to bless him
3). Jabez asked for enlargement of his territory
4) Jabez asked God’s hand to be upon him
5). Jabez asked God for protection from evil and pain
God heard his prayer and answered him. Wow, indeed our God is a Faithful and Prayer Answering God.
God is still looking at us to “Pray for Self” and Pray Boldly. He wants us to be Blessed to become a Blessing to many here on Earth. He wants us to be a Light to this dark World.
So take some time and Pray for Yourself today. Ask God (just like Jabez) to bless you and protect you. To enlarge your boundaries and to be with you. To make you a Blessing, for Millions out there.
