Thankful Heart is the first step towards Significance

Dear Jesus Generation,

Welcome to another session of learning.

Oh Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast Love endures forever Ps 107:1

“Give Thanks in ALL Circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” 1 Thess. 5:18

Whenever I think of King David in the Bible, I am always fascinated by the Pslams he wrote, the songwriting, the words he picked to praise God, to thank God, and to express his emotions out loud. It was not an easy journey for him from the time Prophet Samuel anointed him to be the next king of Israel till the time he became the actual King.

There is bravery, drama, hatred, envy, loneliness, and even fear of death in his journey. But He believed in the promise and on the God of Israel. He dint gave up but stood fast until the promise is fulfilled.

The first man who said God as his shepherd, his song, his shield, his strong tower, his fortress, his salvation, his strength, his refuge, a very present help in time of need, and his secret place. No wonder God called him “The man after my own Heart”.

Every Psalm that he wrote ended on a positive note, full of hope, and showing immense confidence that God will come through for him no matter what.

I believe it all started with a Thankful Heart. A heart filled with gratitude towards God and His word. A heart that longed to see God glorified in all aspects of his life.

We can also turnaround our situations and circumstances by being Thankful to God, being Grateful to what He has already done for us, and believing that He will come through no matter what. He is not a man to lie, He cannot break His covenant.

I encourage you my friends to be Thankful today and count your blessings. List all the things you have today, I am sure many of them are the results and fruit of your yesterdays answered prayers. Appreciate and acknowledge God's goodness in your life and just be Thankful. See how God blesses you more and more.

“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds” Psalm 9:1

God bless.
